This is where you can find out everything you need to know about getting involved! If you have any questions for the club, or are thinking about coming along to a session, visit our Facebook page or email us.

We pride ourselves on having an extremely diverse club, with students studying a wide range of subjects from both the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University attending regularly. We also cater towards people with a wide range of abilities, whether you have years of experience bowling or have never bowled before, so don’t be afraid to come along!

We bowl every Wednesday at MFA Bowl, Firth Park, meeting at the Union entrance at 6:30pm. From here, the club arrange transport for everyone to get to the alley, aiming to start play at 7:00. We arrange transport from HUBS if you inform us in advance, or we can meet you at MFA Bowl. The weekly cost of bowling is £5 for members and £6 for non-members, with an extra £1.50 if you use the transport provided.

We provide coaching sessions throughout the year for those who are looking to improve, and are one of the best known participants on the student bowling tour. We have a qualified BTBA (British Tenpin Bowling Association) coach at the University in Darren Ellis, who is always happy to offer casual advice outside of scheduled coaching sessions. Away from the lanes, we also look to host social sessions at least once a week at a variety of venues.
